82 Sins of the Church
From Cobus van der Merwe, author, engineer, minister, viticulturist, businessman, and himself a lover of the church, this controversial chronicle spews out a scorching tirade at the church, identifying its eighty-two areas of fault according to the Holy Scripture.
But unlike any other book that shines light on the flaws of the church, 82 Sins of the Church aims to help believers in strengthening their faith, aiding them in soul-searching, adjusting to the modern world, and most importantly, promoting the concept of molding the modern-day family with real family values -- the way it should be.
Composed of eighty-three chapters spanning 230 pages, this book quotes scripture in verbatim, negating the need for the reader to supplement his readings with the Holy Bible or a dictionary. Numerous testimonies are available; one of which was a lady who bought fifteen books for her friends. She said “This book is a must read for everyone in America”. Another testimonial is from a Methodist preacher who said “This book contains some profound truths –- it helps in my teaching and Bible study.”
